What personal data is collected and how is it collected

We only collect your email when you want to contact us through our forms and the purpose of that email is to answer to asked questions. No contacts will be added to a data base without consentment to do so.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, the data present on the comment section form is saved, and so is the IP address and the agent of the browser’s user, to help with the detection of spam.

An anonymous string created from your email address (also known as hash) can be sent to the service Gravatar to verify if you’re using it. The policy privacy of the service Gravatar is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/ . After your comment is approved, your profile picture becomes visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Multimedia

By uploading images to the site, you must avoid uploading images with incorporated geolocation data (EXIF GPS). The visitors can download and extract the geolocation data from the site’s images.

We only share the data of your visits with Google Analytics, Google AdWords and Facebook. This data is shared without the person’s identification. We only share the ID, they’ll never know your contacts. We do this share to improve the ads that we bring to you.

For how long is your data held?

If you leave a comment, the comment and its meta-data are stored indefinitely. This happens so that it’s possible to recognize and approve automatically any next comments, instead of putting them in a moderation row.
